Close family, rolling Tennessee hills, twinkling lights, and a small-town venue suited Julie and Austin's personalities perfectly. Their love is obvious to anyone looking, and they couldn't keep from laughing uncontrollably in what felt like 30 degree weather. Julie kept saying, " I just want to be married. That's it." and I love that. Julie kept the day about what really mattered- her and Austin's love. So many times weddings can become about the schedule, about the details, about the stress- so much so that it ceases to be about what truly matters. Not with Julie and Austin. These two were so laid back- and their joy throughout their day was obvious to anyone looking. Austin's parents had just purchased a plot of land about 15 minutes from their venue, so we drove there for their portraits. Not only did it make for a stunning backdrop, but it added a sentimental value for them- and also added to the freezing cold , being on a hill haha. I will never forget their day, and am so honored they trusted me to document it!
